This year’s World Series of Poker will have one of the best payout structures ever thanks to the efforts of Jack Effel, Barry Greenstein and several other notable names.

Thanks to the efforts of a dedicated few, this year’s World Series of Poker will have probably the most equitable payout structure ever. WSOP tournament director Jack Effel commented:

"I think this is a poker player’s dream payout. The payouts look really good this year."

Effel became the assistant tournament director of the WSOP in 2005 and ever since he has been working on the creation of a better payout structure. After four years, he thinks he has finally got it right, saying he will probably use this model forever.
