Online Poker Besmirched

A State Representative from Alabama isn’t fond of online poker and let his feelings be known recently. Alabama Representative Spencer Bachus compared its players to addicts of an illegal drug. Bachus is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives and a member of the House Financial Services Committee. He not only doesn’t like online poker, he stated he will do anything and everything he can to keep online poker from becoming legal in the state and country. He called Internet poker “the crack cocaine of gambling.” Alabama has seven casinos that offer poker.
